I haven't had the chance to look at the whole site, but you might want to take a

It talks about the merits of various windows, how they are defined, mathematical
expressions for them, etc.

BTW, be sure to click on the link up top marked "Global JOS Index." TONS of
useful pages can be accessed from here that are not accessible from Julius
Smith's main page (i.e. there are not currently any links to these pages from
his main web page). Some of the links are not accessible outside of CCRMA, but
there is plenty of cool info.
