The 76477s I bought from Unicorn were 28 pin.  Tom Henry's "Supercomtroller" 
module also shows the 76477 as a 28 pin DIP.  I recall that when I ordered 
several awhile ago, the folks at Unicorn told me that the 16-pin designation in 
their catalog was a screw-up.  They're 28 pin.
