606 bass drum bod

OK, here we go again, with the silly 606 ModBox stuff I
am doing.

OK, the bass drum decay section i have put in is working
perfectly. Its a simple RC network added to the twin T filter.
It works perfectly on short wires directly from the 606 main
board (about 40 cm). However, when connected to the
ModBox via the 2m 37pin cable (which connects to the
individual outs, snare, hihat, and tom mods, which all work
perfectly), the decay does not work. I have tried it with a
common earth connection, and a seperate earth connection
to the mod. Grrr!!!!

Any sugestions? There is a 68nF capacitor in the RC network,
whats going on with me signal? I prolly should know the answer
to this because ive got a test on Single Time Constant Networks
tomorrow :(
