I sure hope they aren't going to learn to solder in *MY* time..
But, I accept that a lot of EEs today are actually applied maths and/or
computer programmers cunningly disguised.

Moral question:
Should someone who has never heard of the concept of crosstalk
(much less  how to minimise it) be sold as an EE?
