The power supply I built to power my tube circuits is built in the
same type of small enclosure as my asm-1 supply and weighs about the
same.  I doesn't have to power a 100-watt amplifier or anything, just
a few handfulls of preamp tubes.  Even the heaters aren't a huge
problem.
