That's why I put on my anti-flame suit!  ;-)

I think it's cool that he does what he does, it's just not too practical,
regardless. I don't need my synth to heat up the room like my old Stereo
70 used to do. If you've got lots of time and room and power, and you
want a challenge, play with tubes, but don't get bitten by the B+, it can
throw you across the room, if you survive it. 

Tubes sound great in hi-end audio and guitar amps, I agree, being a
longtime audiophile; I just wouldn't personally use them anymore, not
practical.
