Seer's big focus at the moment seems to be that it is "Sound Font
compatible." Like as if that's a big plus. derrr.

The fact remains that it can't porta and it has no free running LFOs.
Amongst other things. And all this is typically a limitation of the SF
format. I cannot remember if it allows bidirectional looping but this is
another limitation of the SF format. Credit where credit's due, at least
they didn't make it General MIDI.

Like I said. Reality is probably the best of the bunch but it still has a
long way to go. And running on BOSH98 is a definite disadvantage. But what
can you do? We're stuck with that cruddy OS and that's that. See the whole
push for soft synths, the entire bottom line is that... "If you've got a
computer, it makes a cheap powerful synth." But it works out to be an
"expensive toy" in reality. (excuse the pun) because a real synth wouldn't
let you down as easily. And that, it has to be said, is not the software's
fault entirely.

I like reality. It's a bit of fun.

Be absolutely Icebox.
