Y-ellow Y'all.
A few weeks back Michael Bacich and Christopher List were singing the
praises of this film. Finally I've been to see it and I have to concur.
This film is dope. What was the guy's name? Tom Tykwer?? Something like
that. I saw an interview with him on SBS's "The Movie show" a week or two
ago. He's a cool guy. Please let him make more films like that... Or just
make more films...

I guess the beauty of being both the composer and the director is that you
can seamless integrate the sound track. And it was certainly seamless. It
also probably meant that as musicians, they wouldn't have had to give up
their mixes to some WallyWood sound fluky who would screw up the original
intent. It was mixed for listening as opposed for cinematic effect. Damn
shame the Cinema I was in didn't run it anywhere near loud enough to do it
justice.

BTW Bud. If you were wondering why I was in a hurry, I had to make it from
one side of town to the other before it started. Not unlike the movie it
self as it turns out.

Too many superlatives to rave on about here. Just go see this moofie if you
haven't already. I envy all German speaking people who didn't have to
read the subtitles. :) But at least it wasn't dubbed. Now I have to think
of an excuse to go all the way back into town to see it again. :)

Be absolutely Icebox.
