LM13600

Hi Jim, way back in the project archive is a very nice version
I built with 3080s.

http://www.xavax.com/efm/synth/maxx/page_035.html

Careful when building the version from the cookbook. I used
2SA733s instead of 3906s. The pinout is different. You'll need to
refer to the schematic because the pinout of the pnp on the
board layout is wrong. looking at the layout it is

E
C
B

it should be

B
C
E

You can use the LM13600 or the LM13700/NE5517 for this filter.
The 13600 sounds best to my ears but the difference in minor.
BTW I think the old 3080 version sounds better than the 13600
and I intend to use CA3280s sooner or later, for some reason I
think these sound best of all?? but what a crap pinout!

The only place I've seen the buffers in the 13600/700 make
a real difference is in the ota VCO.

Substituting a fet or opamp for the 13700s on-chip buffer is a
simple solution.
