Martin, I couldn't agree more. I had plenty of the math theory in college and aced the exams, but no one gave us real world applications. It's frustrating that I never had the opportunity to apply that stuff in the eleven years I've graduated from school. Maybe I should've enrolled in Engineering Science and not Electronic Technology.

OTOH, I've gained a lot of info on how to make a circuit *reliable*. While a circuit can look good on paper, many engineers overlook how it can hold up in the real world. There are plenty of reliability shortfalls in my Memorymoog that I have corrected, and it is holding up great in the fifteen years I have owned it.
