As a former Seer employee I can tell you that this is in no way true.
Reality's SoundFont capabilities are just icing.. the core engine knows
nothing about SoundFonts and is not limited by that spec at all. For
example, SoundFonts do not permit FM, yet Reality certainly does.
We probably shouldn't drag this thread out, but I did want to squelch this
rumor before it got started.
