Gur,

Other than using them to make tube pre-amps or similar effectors, they are
not practical for synth use.  Synth circuits need to be exceptionally
stable, and repeatable, and most need to have response down to DC.
Most tube circuits must be AC-coupled to hold back the high voltage power
supply biasing.
