Release Velocity question

Cakewalk Pro 4.5 does not record release velocity.  When I replace the wintel PC with an Apple G4, I will be in the market for a MIDI sequencer that *does* record release velocity.

My Kurzweil 1000 series modules and the Oberheim M6 can respond to release velocity.  I believe the SCI T8 also had release velocity.  This is a very hard feature to find in synths.  I wish more synths had it.

My Kurzweil MIDIBoard transmits release velocity *and* polyphonic pressure - two great controllers for aftertouch.  Release velocity is great for chamber music stuff, you can control the release time of strings and horns by how slow you let up on the keys.  Route Polyphonic Aftertouch to volume and make those choir samples come alive -oo la la!
