insurance?

It's been a while since i asked , I figure there may be some new members
who might have more info.

Any recommendations on insurance in the US for vintage gear? I got an
appraisal and Allstate insists my apartment insurance covers my gear but I
am still skeptical that they would give a fair return if something really
happened.
