Oops sorry for shouting....I'm gonna have a look at using these new mini
LDR's that a few of the catalogues have ...5mm diameter, nearly perfectly
respose matched for green LED's and only about a dollar a go...or 60 pence
in the new money...They've got a dark resistance of about 5MegOhm, and a
lit resistance measured in a few hundred for the sort of illumination
you'll get from a high-intesity green at point-blank range...
