I've been playing with spice simulation of the Minimoog VCO to try and
get your funny fet reset problem.

The circuit is a bitch to simulate. I finally got it going but I had to
roll my own LM393 model to do it... It works good, but if I get into
currents above 10uA the oscillator will lock up. This is about 2KHz. Is
this real ??? I am getting the 200Hz / uA that the schematic calls for.

Im'm using the J112 model without trouble. I'll send you a print of the
waveform later if you want to see...
