Relay switches

Hi Marjan,

I just stumbled upon this a couple of days ago, but it's very much along the
lines I'm looking for. Maybe not what you need, but take a look at this for
some inspiration (from R. G. Keen's site):

And in reference to that schematic I was given the following advice:

Get one that is a miniature PCB mount version with high sensitivity - coil
rating of
5V and 500 ohms at least. Some 12V rated relays with resistances of 1K or
more will
work from a 9V battery, some won't. Get a DPDT relay and do true bypass if
that's
what you're doing with it.

I'm planing on going to mainly rack mounted effects (with a PSU) and using
many relays to switch between several different effects chains, and between
different settings on certain effects. I'm hopping that he will make some
PCBs available since I will need a fair number of relays. Now I need to
figure out how to make a large panel for foot switches which is cheap and
durable -- I'm thinking of using "micro switches" under a small neoprene pad
in some sort of largish metal box.

Any ideas appreciated!
John B.
