Multi axis foot pedals?

I went and purchased a MoogerFooger footpedal.
This is an Italian made, all plastic little footpedal
with a potentiometer and a stereo cord.

The pot is 100K and pinout is:

Tip = wiper (to module input)
Ring = pot high side (+5 or +10 volts)
Sleeve = pot low side (ground)

with pedal all the way back tip is connected to sleeve
(0 volts out).

Very well designed for $40 list, Dr. Moog has cleverly
provided a resource for synth-DIY and a commercial product.

Instead of making it difficult to use with anything but his
own modules, he did the opposite and has made
it as easy as possible to use with any CV synthesizer.

Hooray for Dr. Moog! What a great guy!

PS. I thought to check compatibility with existing
gear. The ESQ1 has a CV pedal input. It has the same
connector pinout, but is expecting a 10K pot instead of 100K.
You can plug it directly in, but the range will be 0-12V
instead of the intended 0-10V. Putting a 11K resistor
across the 100K pot inside should fix the problem.

The ARP Odyssey is expecting a 10K pot on a 2 wire plug.
This one wouldn't work without modification.
