Multi axis foot pedals?

Hi....

If you want to hack something up, why not buy an old sewing machine pedal
from the op shop (or whatever you call a junk store, where profits go to
the needy, in the US!). You may need to change the pot but I'm sure it's
do-able. Maybe get two, glue them together like Michaels idea!!
