I had trouble with crosstalk too. But changeing the scheme in which the
individual caps are updated helped.
It can happen that two switches are on at the same time, when the selector
bits change. Due to finite switching times.
The steps I do are:
Disable all switches.
Select the new switch.
Enable all switches.
This circumvents that problem.
