I saw it, too, on video.  I was disappointed.  It seemed to be made by
someone who was an aspiring Oliver Stone, instead of an aspiring Bob
Moog.  Too much National Enquirer, not enough Electronic Musician.
Of course, if you're captured by the KGB, one can't exactly skip
that part of the story.

PS.  The scene with Brian Wilson would make an excellent anti-drug
public service announcement:  Hey, kids, take drugs and this is what will
happen to you!  :-0
