Hi Ian!

My question on this subject: 
Would I have to add that extra linearization resistor? 
Or could it be that the manufacturer already did that for me? 

The theoretical Pt-resistors are "just" long pieces of wire, while in
technical resistors there may be additional resistances, such as from the
contacting or the like. Or from using Pt-alloys that linearizes the resistor.
