Ring modulators

    An ideal ring modulator will "multiply" the carrier input by the
modulator input.  What this will do is give you the sum and difference
frequencies of the two inputs, while supressing the two inputs.  Used a
lot to make bell sounds.  It will definatly make your spectra a lot more
complex.
