This is true for the 202, but the 101's CV input is definitely NOT quantized. I have done plenty of
FM type effects with the 101's CV input. Also, having the 202 drive the 101 is nice, as you can
program in per-note portamento on the 202 that the 101 will follow - which would be impossible if
the 101's input was quantized.
The 202's inputs, of course, are quantized. In fact, they are pretty much worthless as they
currently stand. I wonder if the 202 Nova Mod will address this...A Nova Mod 202 should be an
AMAZING thing! Now I am glad I didn't sell mine. I hope that they keep the mods in the device itself
(using Alps pots or some such tiny devices), instead of using the dread "breakout" box.
