Okay, now i have the schematic in front of me... Take a Look at R54 at the
lower right corner of the CPU. The Firmware only goes into V/Hz mode if CPU
P1.7 is pulled high during startup, which is what R54 is supposed to do.

I remember some confusion when I built the kit when I got to the V/Hz /
V/Oct part because the directions jumped around a bit. Perhaps they should
write 2 separate instruction sheets so you dont have to jump around like
that.
