I dont mind tracking problems - I think this will add to the interest!
Is there a schematic somewhere?

It's a very basic schematic, but all what YOU need (if the dividers are
already built up) is the integrator with the 4066-switch for shortcut
of the capacitor. I have built up this subharmonic oscillator 4 times
for my trautonium, it works well. If you want to reduce tracking, the
voltage input at the inverting input of the op-amp could be connected
with the CV of the TOP-oscillator. I tried this, the amplitude of the
saw-waves will be all the same for different oscillator frequencies.
