Matt,
Sorry, but your ARP Omni cannot be modified to respond to voltage control.
It does not create its pitches with a Voltage-Controlled Oscillator. It uses
an old organ technolgy known as Top-Octave Division. This system does not
work with control voltage.
The Omni's CV input is there just for controlling the filter (for filter
sweeps). The Gate input will trigger the Omni's monophonic envelope
generator, but that won't be of any use without voltage control over pitch.
You might consider trying to build your own voltage-controlled synth. It's
cheap, and not extremely difficult. Take a look at the designs at Tom G's
web site, and also look at the PAIA FatMan kit.
