simple way to add harmonics to a fundamental signal

This is usually pretty disappointing, if the 'harmonics' are simply locked
in phase or directly
derived from the fundamental.
Distorting and filtering will do it.
Some distortion ckts are pretty simple (see the guitar fx ckts)
