I have not seen this book, but there is a new one from MIT that looks very
interesting:
"Music, Cognition, and Computerized Sound" Perry R. Cook (Ed.). The
book focuses on psychoacoustic processes in a musical content --
according to MIT's ad. It includes chapters by Chowning, Matthews,
and Shepard, among others. $60 392 pages 174 illus.
MIT's catalog code is 0-262-03256-2 COOMH

Anybody actually have a copy of this?
