Can we please stop this? It goes nowhere. This is just another
Mustangs are better than Camaros, Macs and PCs, Dogs vs Cats...
This stuff has been said and said and said and it's very old, very
boring and totally nonproductive. I'd invite a technically based
discussion of the differences between tubes and silicon, but this
is simply "nose out of joint" bickering. My personal belief, (and I
think I am not alone) is that there is a purpose for all of these
devices, and that no one thing is better any other one thing. Just
different.

And if that will improve the signal to noise ratio here, more the
better. Sorry, but this crap degrades DIY.
Eric, you DO need an attitude check. Can't you simply explain your
points and present your data in a more scientific and less emotional
way? Correct me please, if I am wrong, but really, numbers work better
than personal attacks. And making excuses for poor samples, indeed.
