This must be a very old chip. I can tell you a story about that,
though I cannot help you with technical information.

When I made my first experiments in music electronics,
it was all discrete transistors, and it took me some time
to get the first ICs. Not easy in a small town in Germany
back then. So I asked my aunt who was living in a big
city to buy me some 741's for a certain amount of money.
When she came back she told me she only got one,
and it was more expensive than the money I'd given her.
Guess what it was. I kept it a few years and it finally went to
the dustbin (;->).
The second sad experience after frying my first 3080 (by
connecting pin 5 to VCC) ...

Those were the days !
