Compatiblity probs between Win98 and DOS programs?

Problem #1 here is "Upgraded". Many ppl have had problems with the
"Upgrade" version of Win98.

IMHO, Your best bet is to start from a clean machine with a blank hard
drive. I know its a pain, but in my experience, Win98 tries to keep too many
old drivers and things from your previous install, some of which do not work
well in win98. You really need the newest drivers that were written with
win98 in mind. The old ones may work okay for most windows software, but
when you drop into a dos program and it tries to do funky things directly
with the sound and video drivers, it may not be reliable.
