Hi All !

Lots of good ideas here :)

Juergen is right to go for more individual function
switches/controls, more expensive all round, but so much better is
use, i'm sure .

If i ever would build such a machine, i'd go for a six voice one, i
still like t pickup a guitar from time to time, and controlling
synths with it is just plain nice . With this talk of unison/poly
mode, i'd like to plead for a mono mode, with six subsequent midi
channels used . Should give pitchbend by channel/voice/string .

And please, do not forget about poly aftertouch . I use an Ensoniq
EPS16+ as my master kbd, for this very reason, can be abit fiddely to
get the response just right, but it's worth it ;-)

The Oberheim Xpander has some good and usable ideas on voice
allocation and such .

Btw, have you had a look at the ETI/Powertran polyphonic ? Up to 8
voices (4 in the basic unit) no microprocessor :), but the voices are
based on the CEM ics . And no autotune, if i remembercorrectly .
Dunno if the articles are on the web .

Later

Keep 'em oscillating :)
