Don't want to repeat myself, but making 8-wire patchcord using
RJ-45 plugs (ISDN, or ethernet) takes 20 seconds. Is flexible,
small outline, cheap... Maybe not so cool looking, but one can use
round cable instead of flat.

Just an idea - one-voice modules, but easy (headers on both sides)
to stack. Everybody could then have as many voices as they want
(17?)
Pots could be PC mounted too - solder it to tront PCB, while others
get their CVs thru headers.
