When you take 2 MT8816 you get a circuit similar to the TQFP chip and
could make simple PCBs for it.

Interesting. It may depend on your connection/routing as I had no
problems... (but maybe due to a fast 1MBit connection :-)  ).

I don't know the distributor where you live and I don't know the price.
But I should have quite a lot of these chips *new*, and I don't need all
of them. So if you can't find these chips in your country you could ask
me and I could sell you some chips.
