Very true.
Can't beat functionality/area ratio.
I can not understand why only so few people use this design as embeded micro.
The original design is by WDC in Arizona.
Maybe they have a strange license policy.
More likely: the inferior stuff seems to always win. (Windooze , Midi ... tbc.).
I'm getting negative... I should go home now.
