Recently I 'resurected' aftertouch in my JX8P using single PNP
transistor. It isn't the best way, but works. Before that I could get
aftertouch on one key only by pushing it about 10kg force.
Now it's usefull, but not equally on entire keyboard - in the middle
the sensor is worn out a little.

They used some sort of conductive rubber similar to those used
in LCDs to connect glass with circuitry - black and white (conductive
and isolator) stripes.
