You know, MP3.com has this deal on their site where they sell the CD's you make - and they
are combo CD's called DAM's that are half MP3 half audio. What if we use their site for
release of selfproduced sample CD's? They handle the manufacturing and sale and the
author gets 50%. Priced $5-$10.
How would you want the CD done? Just a whole bunch of sounds, not necessarily musical,
not necessarily playing up they scale, or what?
If they'd let us do it I'd be up for it. Maybe put my 3D audio stuff there too.

Subject: make sample CD's
Has anyone thought of the idea to sample sounds of their exclusive/homebuild modulars and
make a collection of it? Maybe even a commercial sample CD? Many of the listers have got
unique instruments. It could also be used as a form of patch memory.
CDs are highly portable (post) and what does a CD-burner cost today anyway?
