Single chip VC-ADSR idea

I was thinking along similar lines. Future ideas might include a VC-LFO with
other controllable parameters (waveshape, sync, MIDI clock). I did consider
how feasible it would be to build a VCO, maybe just a square wave but the
ADC isn't up to it, the steps in frequency would have to be big or the range
of the oscillator limited. I also though about trying to do a top octave
generator (something along the lines of the M-110 chip in the Jen SX1000)
but I don't think the internal prescaler is flexible enough to the dividing
ratios.
