The 6502 is still available in the US from Jameco Electronics.  The 1mHz 
version is $3.25 in single pieces.  They also have the 65C02 (CMOS version) 
for $4.95.  I called and asked about them.  They said they have plenty in 
stock (several hundred, at least).
