Poly Midi converter

Dear all,

  Im about to embarke on trying to make a polyphonic midi controller, what I 
want was to bounce ideas off you lot to see if you want anything extra or 
dont need something, this is what I have planned so far..

  - 8 Note poly (either as CV or data)
  - 8 Cv's for velocity
  - Seperate CV for Mod wheel
  - Seperate CV for pitch wheel
  - Mono/Poly mode (in mono mode ALL note and Velocity CV's are same)
  - Switch for channel select.

  Anyone got any other suggestions?
