       Helio,
CJ sends greetings to synth-diy! For a few months
now I've been building some fun non-tuneable modules
and some modified sk-1's,toys,etc.I am currently re
-stocking the bench as my supplies of nearly every-
thing have been depleted(which,considering,is prob-
ably for the best..).
Through the summer I'll be working on some mono-
lithic modules and honing my skills for the discrete
concepts.I am slowly learning some fundamentals of
circuit design and construction.I'll be de-focusing
just enough to enjoy some pre-application kind of
theory.
I was extremely fortuneate to recieve my first
analog synth as a gift this year(a friend happened
to have an HS-60 kicking about.)It's fun,in a limit-
ed way;the first synth I've tried with a keyboard!
On 5/2 I biked 60 miles to the New England Synthe-
sizer Museum ;where David H. Wilson was generous to
allow me to try an Oberheim 2-voice(?),Moog 15,and
Electrocomp 200,of course I overwhelmed by indescrib
able koala-tease!
My computer won't be ready until later this year
(right after I build it)so my mail might be 2 or 3
days slow until then.
Since Analog Devices claims not to have purchased
them ,any ideas on where the masks for the SSM-203x
and SSM-204x went whem PMI was absorbed?
-btw my day job is coaching local cross-country
 ping-pong teams.
This week will be kind of interesting,I'll relay some of the details as it unfolds.
  Aloha! Happy new ears!
