ODP: PolyModular

Not so long ago I had similar idea (make another polysynth, but bigger)
with big voice boards, which everyone could stack to any count they want.
But last pieces of sanity made me gave up this thing.
Nevertheless I'm highly interested in doing such thing, although
doing it alone is maddness. I'm saying let's do it!
Of course if you want me to participate B-)

connectors - why not use RS232 cables (D-9) and make it 9 voice?

Ed (TDM) - what you propose (time multiplexed signals over one wire)
is actually *sampling* which makes everybody shiver here.

Harry (PCB) - I sure am interested. We'll have good fight about it ;->
No, no, there's plenty to do for two of us (and more)

It start to look like the project on DIY-PCB list. So maybe something
good will come up of this
