Hi Toby,

Actually if what you say is true, this would probably spell doom for my
"all in one flip-flop and comparator" 555 setup.  It relies on the
trigger comparator (pin 2) being "boss".  I checked a spec sheet in this
regard, but I guess each manufacturer is free to publish their own specs
for the "same" chip.  Sigh.  

I am using TI 555 chips BTW.
