I have used a little SP-202 sampler to save the sequences from my
MC-202. This works well, even at low-fi settings, although the sampling
rate has to be at least a certain rate in order for things to work. I'm
not sure how well MP3 would work, as it uses a compression based on
psychoacoustic principles (i.e. frequencies that would be masked by
other frequencies when heard by humans will be left out). It might work,
but it might leave out information that wouldn't be heard in the signal
by us, but is crucial for information transfer.
