dsub punch?

Check a local college - their science departments usually have a machine
shop and they might be into letting you use the punch.

Maybe trade something to the shop manager.

Does anyone know where to find an inexpensive D-sub punch?
I need to mount a 9 pin D-sub, and the only punch I have
found cost a small fortune.
