Right. The high torque can be a problem. Large knobs will help, as
they keep the force low. Unfortunately I did not have the space for
large knobs on the HiFli, so it's a valid point.
What works extremely well, if you have the space, are chicken head
knobs on rotary switches. Very nice "retro" design, too.
