3046 still being made?

This is a problem also for 3v/5v level-shifter chips like the 74LCX245 -
none of them are made in DIP packages any more.   At Mouser and Digikeyou
can find adapter sockets and protoboards that adapt from some of the
surface-mount packages to DIP.
