sh101 wierd fault

Does it do this while operating on fresh batteries? Sounds like the
power supply (i.e. the little wallwart) may be to blame.  Try using a
brand new Boss PSA-120 power supply (or whatever the proper one is).  I
had similar problems with my 101, and it turns out that the cheapo power
supply that came with mine had given up the ghost.  Getting a
Boss-compatible power supply fixed things.  

Of course, it may be some other problem, in which case the above advice
probably won't help.  Beep!
