Well, it's time I dump the last of my junk and I thought I would ask you
DIY'ers if you wanted any of it. This time it's Emulator 2's & 1 emax
board set. But you must remember these are sold as is & I will only tell
you what I know & nothing else should be implied.
1) Complete Emulator 2 "Frankenstien"
What I know. The Control Panel is from a Emulator 2HD. There is more then
likely a bad switch or 2.
The Digital Card is not ready for the "+" option as the rev of board is
missing the jumpers to slect the 256K Drams. I have a set of Eproms for
the "+" option if one desires them & wants to hack.
The Analog card is good.
Power Supply is good.
It is a single Drive unit but adding a second drive is trivial.
Fuse Holder on the Power supply is lost.
It looks in pretty good shape & it does power up & load the OS.
This is when I noticed some flakey switches.
Remember this was an old emulator I kept for testing.
The Emax....
What a story this one has... But for the sake of keeping it short I will
only say I did not do it. But I did give the board set to a friend who
did. And i did get it back when he failed. With that said I should also
sya It was a working board set. It is not in an Emax rack, it is in this
thing that will rack mount...
There is a Power supply (Not an Emu one).
There is a Disk Drive (Not an Emu one either).
Analog Board is good.
Digital Board may have problems. My friend adjusted and ofset on the E
chip an no-no.
I have service docs on both but I will not sell them. You pay for copies.
(I still am asked to work on these).
You Pay shipping. You make offers. I must remove these from my basement
ASAP. I will take the highest offer or the best joke within the next 24
hours. (Just to be fair)

(PS: I am in Portland Oregon, consider this when making your offer. As the
E2 is heavy.)
